As website become more and more popular for businesses and others, the more people are trying figure it out for themselves. That is when people turn to builders such as Wix and Square Space. They allow people to drag and drop their content into their website. Wordpress just recently developed their version of this. The new Gutenberg editor is a builder like Wix. There are predefined blocks that you can place onto your website.
Personally, I am not a fan of this method. As a designer and SEO tech, I do not feel like I have full control over the content of the web page. I cannot see all the code that is being added within these blocks and the control is very limited. That is why I tend to code the site in the Classic Wordpress editor, or I turn to a third party builder that has been developed more. My favorite builder is the Muffin Builder available with BeTheme. The CSS is very easy to control and the build becomes a lot easier. Either way, Gutenberg would not be my first choice.
